Come join Jaimie (@BashfulQuilter) and slow down this winter by learning a beautiful handwork technique that can be applied to loads of projects after our monthly meeting on January 17, 2026 from 12pm – 4pm at The First Lutheran Church of Montclair.

In this class you will learn how to combine knit and quilting cotton fabrics to create raw edge reverse applique designs to finish as a beautiful and comfy pillow. By using knit fabric you don’t have to worry about any fray and the (big) running stitch style is sure to make your project pop!

This class is technique-based and handwork focused: we’ll prepare your fabrics, trace and cut designs, and learn how to create big stitches. Instructor will provide instructions for finishing pillow by machine and how to apply this to a whole quilt should you choose. Reach
