NJMQG is excited to invite you to join Emily Chwazik for her fun and easy Vinyl Project Pouch class on Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 12:00 to 4:00 pm at the Community Church of Cedar Grove directly following our November meeting. This is great for beginners who want to learn how to sew with zippers, vinyl, and even adding cut embellishments like sew-in labels, zipper pulls and more.

Members can use this project for our New Year’s Party gift exchange for our January meeting!

The class is $38 per member. Students will be required to purchase the Simple Simon and Co. Vinyl Project Pouch pattern to bring to the class.

Skill Level: Beginner

Class Materials List:

• ½ yard main fabric
• ¼ yard coordinating fabric for binding
• 16″ zipper or longer
• ½ yard fusible fleece
• ½ yard vinyl
• Optional: sew-in label or tag, fabric selvedge for embellishments
• sewing machine and supplies, iron, sewing pins/clips, zipper foot, etc

Please bring your fabrics pre-cut so we can assemble our pouches together and finish the day with a beautiful finished pouch!

Registration for this class ends on October 30, 2026 or when we reach a capacity of 20 students.
