September 2026 Meeting Recap

On Saturday September 19th, we hosted our first in-person meeting after the summer Zoom break with 39 members and 3 guests in attendance.

QuiltCon 2027 Atlanta – February 25 – 28

Community Outreach Quilt
- The theme is Half Square Triangles
- We selected the Bold palette
- Dimensions: min 60”x80” & max 65”x85”
Block kits were distributed at the September meeting.
Blocks are due back at the October meeting – DO NOT TRIM!
Volunteers will stay after the October meeting to trim.
Please return any scraps with your blocks.

Charity Quilting

Jelly Roll Race

After our regular meeting we celebrated National Jelly Roll day with a Jelly Roll Race and here are our 4 finishers – Gretchen, Sue A., Kathy, and in 1st place — Karen (just look those impressive miters!)

New Meeting Space Needed–still looking!

Sadly, the First Lutheran Church closed after our June meeting and we are actively looking for another local space in which to hold our meetings, workshops and holiday party within our budget. Any ideas or contacts, please contact Ann.

Good lighting, sufficient outlets, storage space and parking are on our wish list of nice-to-haves.

Until we have secured a new spot, we are meeting at the Community Church of Cedar Grove at 65 Bowden Rd, Cedar Grove.
