SHOW and TELL 

As always a fabulous show and tell from such an amazing group of ladies. 

What a wonderful Meeting we had for July. Thanks to all who came out to sew and socialize. 

Meeting was called to order at 12:45 pm by our President, Melanie Tuazon. She made some quick announcements about the upcoming Heather Grant Lecture. Our regular August meeting will be held August 21st at RPS and our October meeting  will be another open sew. We then had open sew and socializing and some snacks. Last but not least our favorite Show and tell.

Hello all! Don’t forget, this Thursday is guild night! Seven o’clock at Rock Paper Scissors, 15 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair.

As always, bring a name tag and a chair, plus something to show and tell and a pincushion if you’d like to join in on the swap!

We’re going to have a fun meeting! We’re going to talk about personal quilt style and do an exercise to help define it. Bring a notebook and a pen as well.

On an organizational note, the board is looking for help from members who are interested in helping to coordinate donation quilt efforts. Ideally there would be 2-3 members who can keep track of donation quilts in progress and assign piecing/quilting/binding duties to members as needed. We are working on making guild labels and have already collectively made a dozen quilts this year! We need quilters with a can-do spirit and good organizational skills who love giving quilts to those in need. This is an important function of our guild, and we’d love to get it rolling more efficiently. If you’re interested, email njmqginfo at gmail.com
