We’re thrilled to continue our Member-Instructor Workshops with Amy Rehbein! Join us for this workshop where Amy will walk you through the steps to make the Betty Bowler Bag by Swoon  – a vintage-inspired carry-all, roomy enough to fit anything you need for a day trip. This bag is about 17” wide and features four exterior slip pockets, a zippered pocket, and piping for a professionally-made look.

About Amy
Wife to her high school sweetheart and mother of 3 daughters, Amy has been a maker for as long as she can remember. Born and raised in New Jersey, Amy spent countless hours playing at the feet of her mother’s Singer sewing machine. She has been sewing since she was a little girl – generations of women before her influencing her creative passions. Ten years ago she began quilting, developing a unique style that she likes to call “Vintage Modern,” honoring the past by weaving traditional elements into her modern designs. Amy’s work has been published in modern quilting books and shown in quilt shows. She has taught various sewing classes to all levels of sewists. Currently, Amy is serving as the Vice President of the North Jersey Modern Quilt Guild where she has been an active member since 2013.

  1. Good morning,

I am very interested in this workshop, can non members attend? The pricing does say for non members but just want to make sure. Please let me know if I can attend if there are any spots left open?

    Thanks Kari Gallagher
