December 17th Meeting Recap

Happy Holidays! We a fun festive crowd of about 50 people join in Thursday night for our Annual Holiday Party meeting. We had a very busy night with lots of pretty quilty things, so lets take a look.

Guild Business

MQG Updates – Membership renewal will be coming in January. Current members will receive an email with all the information and a link to PayPal.
Quiltcon Community Quilt – Margy updated us that the quilt is currently with Krishma for quilting.
Charity Updates – Elinore, our coordinator, dropped off 81 pillowcases to Giving Hope Network. Collecting for charity is ongoing. If you have a quilt or pillowcases you would like to donate, please contact Elinore.

Programs Updates

Tara Faughnan Workshop – Elaine Bronner informed us that the Brownstone Quilters Guild has openings in the Color Interaction Workshop from Tara Faughnan. The date is Saturday, January 16th and the cost is $60 for nonmembers. Click on the link to register.

Final UFO Challenge

And our final UFO winner is Sarah! She won a copy of the Cotton & Steel Coloring book.
