Holiday Party – December 6 11a – 3p

Holiday Tote Bag blind swap – Sam sent out general instructions to make a tote bag for the blind swap. There are no specific dimensions required, but the idea is to be large enough to hold a finished quilt.

Be sure to put your name inside your wrapped swap tote so the recipient will know who made it!

We have loads of other fun activities and games planned!

Members are asked to bring a dessert, snack or beverage.

And remember your name tag!

Wishing Well
In the spirit of the holiday season, NJMQG members are invited to share a wish. It could be a service or item, approximate value $20-25. We gathered the wishes and created a Sign Up form. To grant a wish, please visit the link below. If you have a wish to add, please email Ann.

Minimalist Challenge

Eight members completed their challenge quilts based on the concept of minimalism as we learned from Nicole Neblett’s video in the MQG video library.

Such different ideas! Thanks and congrats to the winners: 3rd place Sue, 2nd place Betsy V, 1st place Gretchen!

A Very Big Surprise!

Kelly purchased and washed over 70 quilts from an estate sale in Manhattan. She brought them to the November meeting and invited members to purchase, with the remainders to be donated to a local food bank or animal shelter depending on condition.

We expect to see some fabulous quilted garments and other creative items in the future! What will you make with yours?

Betsy V. and Ann led us through the steps to complete our own fabulous quilted sneakers. We had a blast!
