This coming Thursday – we’ll open it up at our usual time at 7pm to get set up, and we’ll start at 7:15

Our guest this month: Clara Nartey – artist, quilt designer, author, and creativity mentor, she’ll be joining us for our meeting and talking with us about getting out of a creative slump.

Check your inbox for an upcoming email with Zoom call-in details.

*If you are a guest (non-NJMQG member) and would like to join us – please do! – we have a $5 fee this month, use the PayPal button and the Zoom details will be emailed to you after payment is received. Please contact treasurer(at)njmqg.com if you have any issues.

Guest attendance fee for lecture

*there is a $2 PayPal charge added to the $5 guest fee

While we have our guest, please be mindful and mute your microphone. Check your video & audio settings before we start and don’t hesitate to ask if you need some guidance about where your settings are. Since we plan on a Q&A time, familiarize yourself with the ZOOM buttons: there is a chat button that looks like a speech bubble. Feel free to use this to ask questions during her talk.

We’ll start our meeting by quickly talking about some guild business then after our Q&A with Clara we’ll continue our meeting with programs updates and have our UFO & Show & Tell shares.

To better facilitate, please send our Programs team – Samantha, Jeanine & Sue (programs(at)njmqg.com) any photos BY WEDNESDAY to add into our usual meeting slide show – specify if your item is for the UFO section or Show & Tell. A simple email with description will work.

We are looking forward to seeing you.

Twice Cut Drunkards Path – SOLD OUT

Do you want to learn how to sew no-pin curves and learn how to use this skill in an exciting new way? In this class we get our heads around the twice-cut (or sometimes trice-cut) Drunkard’s Path block and the fun and unlimited ways of using this technique. We will sew blocks from the Hole Punch Ribbon and Hole Punch Hoop Quilts but also look at how you can design your own twice-cut Drunkard’s Path block.

The class is suitable for anyone with a few machine-quilting (or garment-making) projects under their belt but it’s also a great way for the experienced sewer to widen their repertoire and push themselves creatively.

Join Jenny Haynes of Papper Sax Sten for an online zoom workshop on August 22, 9:00- 2:00 EST

SORRY THIS WORKSHOP IS SOLD OUT.
