July 2017 Meeting Recap
41 members and 4 guests attended
It was our first meeting as your new board, though two of us were away.
It was very hot, but we had lots of fans. Thanks to those who brought theirs from home. The fans made it very loud, but Amy was able to find us a microphone.
The Quilt Spot ladies came from Midland Park with a pop-up shop, which was in operation before and after the meeting and during the break. They contributed two fat quarter bundles with gift cards, which went to two lucky members (JoAnn and Josie). Everyone seemed to enjoy the shopping, so maybe we can have them back next spring.

Sarah reminded us of what classes are still to come this year.
The “one hour baskets” received from CJMQG for our members who participated in the swap were handed out. The baskets were quite nice, and lavishly filled with goodies. Lots of happy faces!
Second quarter bee blocks were exchanged. Due to vacations and family emergencies they were not all there, but the ones we did see were beautiful.
Stay tuned to sign up for the 3rd quarter bee.
And of course, we had show and tell.
