Reminder: January 2016 Meeting This Thursday!

• Our January meeting is this Thursday, January 21st, 2016 at 7pm at our NEW LOCATION:

~ Community Church of Cedar Grove, 65 Bowden Road, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009.

• You can park in the large lot in the back and use the side entrance to come in.

• Feel free to arrive about 15 minutes early.

• Please remember, you do not have to bring a chair. We will have chairs set up.

• We will have a FREE table: Please bring in quilty / sewing related items you are no longer using or would like to pass along (books, fabric, thread, patterns, notions, etc). If it does not get taken by the end of the meeting, please take it home with you).

• We will introduce a new series: MEMBER TRUNK SHOWS!

~ Andrea B. is the featured NJMQG Member who will kick off our new series!

• Please bring your name tag to the meeting. If you do not have a name tag, we can arrange a partner swap. Also, please bring anything you may have for show and tell!

Field Trips: Shopping Saturday

Announcing the addition of some informal gatherings to our njmqg programming calendar called Field Trips! If you know of an exhibit or activity in our general area that is of modern quilty inter

est, please let the guild know about the event. We’ll come up with a time/date where we know at least a few of us will be attending for a meet-up.

These are informal gatherings – no one is required to RSVP, just come! If it’s farther away, use any of the posts to work on carpooling or planning transportation.

We thought it would be nice to meet to pet fabric together (and then a stop at Panera Bread to compare purchases and project plans!). So our first Shopping Saturday Field Trip is at rock paper scissors on Saturday, January 23rd at 3:00 p.m. Come and see what’s new and spend some time in our favorite local quilt shop.

Dates will be announced on our blog, on our Instagram account, and on our members-only Facebook page. Have fun!

New Meeting Space

Greetings and Salutations. I can’t believe that our next meeting in our new space will be this Thursday. We are very very excited about this new chapter for our guild and we hope you will join us. January 21st at 7 pm. Please feel free to arrive about 15 minutes early.

The Church is located at 65 Bowden Road, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009. Bowden Road is directly off Route 23. I have included a link for you on Google maps here Map

Please remember we will be able to have a FREE table at this new space. So if you have anything you would like to share please bring it. (remember to bring it back home if no one takes it)

You do not need to bring your chair. We will have them set up for you and bring your name tag.
