We’ll have more to say in the next week or two, but for now we want to thank everyone who helped make our Quiltcon charity quilt so beautiful. It was not easy, but we came together as a team. Huge thanks to everyone who made blocks, as well as Amy, who put the top together, Diane Fama, who quilted it and attached binding, Margy, who made the binding, and Stella, who hand sewed the binding. Thank you, North Jersey Modern Quilters!

You voted and the date is set! Let’s meet at the Montclair Art Museum on January 3rd at 2pm.

We’ll take a stroll through the “From Heart to Hand: African-American Quilts from the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts” Quilt Exhibit on display and have a bite to eat in Montclair after our time at the museum.

Regular Admission Prices are:
Nonmember Adults: $12
Seniors (65+): $10
Students (with I.D.): $10
Members: free of charge
Children under 12: free of charge

I’ll contact the museum to see if we can get a group tour and will let you know if there are any special instructions if we are able to have a guided tour.
