QuiltCon Charity Quilt:

Our Improv with Intent charity quilt,”Intermingle,” was delivered to Pasadena last week! Thank you to everyone who worked on it!

Quilt Fest:

All members who have quilts in the NJMQG Special Exhibit, please check your inbox for instructions on collecting the quilts for the show, the sleeve size, etc. If you have a quilt in the exhibit and did not receive an email, please email njmqginfo at gmail dot com.

Paper Bag Mini Swap:

At our January 2016 meeting, we announced the Paper Bag Mini Swap! Please click here for details and deadlines.

March 2016 GREEN Swap:

This swap item will be due at the March meeting. The theme is Green and must be a Pincushion. Details coming soon!

Reminder: January 2016 Meeting This Thursday!

• Our January meeting is this Thursday, January 21st, 2016 at 7pm at our NEW LOCATION:

~ Community Church of Cedar Grove, 65 Bowden Road, Cedar Grove, NJ 07009.

• You can park in the large lot in the back and use the side entrance to come in.

• Feel free to arrive about 15 minutes early.

• Please remember, you do not have to bring a chair. We will have chairs set up.

• We will have a FREE table: Please bring in quilty / sewing related items you are no longer using or would like to pass along (books, fabric, thread, patterns, notions, etc). If it does not get taken by the end of the meeting, please take it home with you).

• We will introduce a new series: MEMBER TRUNK SHOWS!

~ Andrea B. is the featured NJMQG Member who will kick off our new series!

• Please bring your name tag to the meeting. If you do not have a name tag, we can arrange a partner swap. Also, please bring anything you may have for show and tell!

Hope everyone had a lovely holiday! Here are some reminders and news.

• QuiltCon 2016:

Enter your quilts! The entry deadline is Monday, November 30th! Click here to enter.

• Mid Atlantic MOD Registration:

Early Registration closes end of day on Monday, November 30th! Click here for details. If you are a current NJMQG member or a new NJMQG member and did not receive an email with the code and link, please email njmqginfo at gmail dot com as soon as possible. General registration will open on Wednesday, December 2nd at 7 pm.

• NJMQG 2016 Membership:

NJMQG 2016 Membership renewal/new membership is open! Membership dues for 2016 are $50. Click here for links and details.

• December 2016 Meeting:

The December 2016 Meeting is a Holiday Potluck Party! Location is at the LDS Church, 209 Mountain Ave. in Caldwell, NJ on Thursday, December 17th. Sign ups for potluck coming soon.

The Elfster Swap will also take place at the party!

• Quiltfest 2016:

The NJMQG will have a special exhibit titled “Modern Quilts” at The Quilt Fest of New Jersey on March 3-6, 2016! The NJMQG Executive Board will need to provide a list of items that will be part of our exhibit no later than December 18th. Details to come in a separate blog post.
