In the spirit of Thanksgiving, there are so many things I’m thankful for right now. I won’t bore you with the details, and I hope that everyone spent time counting blessings last week. Now it’s time to discuss our quilty blessings. I was thinking the other day how thankful I am for my rotary cutter. 12 years ago when I first made a quilt I had to trace everything and use scissors. No shock: it took me 12 years to try again. Thank you, Rotary Cutter for saving my life.
What quilty tool are you thankful for this year? I need some ideas for stocking stuffers…

I love my 6″ grid ruler. I use it to measure and cut everything – not just fabric either!
My new (for me) favorite toolis That Purple Thang. It pushes, pokes, pulls, p-fudges, p-stuffs. Everyone needs one. Mary K
Good question! I’m thankful for my pressing ham. I love being able to properly iron curves and garments.
I love my 8 inch square ruler and my 15 1/2 inch square gridded ruler. I have a new sharp seam ripper with a rubber end to remove the little threads. Chalk colored pencils to mark quilting lines , magnetic pin cushion. Oh, endless gadgets..
I love my 6″ x 12″ Omnigrip rulers, my Clover rolling chalk (http://www.amazon.com/Clover-Style-Chaco-Liner-White/dp/B0016ZZOEK) & always my well sharpened Gingher scissors.
Also a good hunk of beeswax, bend safety pins and those clear rubberized stickiesmtomput on the ruler that helps keep it from slipping!
